Instructions
Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Soak rice cakes in cold water and set aside. Cut oden into bite size strips. Make Korean broth (if using). You can use this recipe
Add 800 ml of broth to a pot with your sauce. Stir to incorporate into broth and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Let this boil for about 2-3 minutes.
Meanwhile, boil a small pot of water and cook your ramen noodles for about 1 minute and then drain.
Drain your rice cakes. Add oden and rice cakes to the pot with the sauce and broth. Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in your green onion and ramen noodles. Add in a little more broth, or water if there is not enough sauce. Mix to combine and serve topped with sesame seeds.
