1lbPork shoulder
1Small onion
1-2Serrano chilliesOptional
Green onionFor garnish
Marinade
2.5tbspGochujangKorean fermented red pepper paste
1tspDoenjangKorean fermented soy bean paste
1 1/3tbspKorean red chilli flakesGochugaru
3clovesGarlicMinced
3 1/3tbspPlum extractCan be substituted with mirim (Korean cooking wine)

1tspSesame oilMore for garnish

Instructions
Thinly slice pork (little thinner than 1/4"), thinly slice onion
Mix all marinade ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Add pork and onion to bowl and mix to combine. Cover and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a large pan over medium high heat. Add marinated meat to pan with serrano chillies (if using.) Cook, stirring often for about 4-5 minutes until pork is cooked through. Remove from heat and serve topped with extra sesame seeds, chopped green onion and a bowl of rice!
